
Scientific Lab Associate (f/m/d)
Objective of the Position
Adapting our platform technology to the various applications and requirements of individual customers. Development of new industrial solutions based on INOFEA’s enzyme technology.
Key Responsibilities
Applying the technology of INOFEA to enzymes of interest.
Using established enzymatic activity assays to assess the properties of the biocatalysts developed.
Maintaining a good overview on the ongoing research projects and activities.
Drafting protocols and reports.
Assuring technical support to our customers with meetings/calls.
Taking in charge laboratory organisation tasks.
Scaling-up the production processes for customer sampling/sales of enzymes.
Ensuring that the enzymes meet the individual specifications (Quality Assurance).
Planing, implementing and completing R&D projects in line with the expectations of customers and management.
Key requirements
Master degree in Biology, Molecular biology, Biochemistry or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience as research/technical assistant in the biology, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry
Proven experience in relevant analytical techniques e.g. HPLC and spectrophotometric analysis of molecules and proteins.
Good knowledge of enzymology.
Good experience with agarose gels, SDS-PAGE.
Proven experience in research including designing (protocols preparation) executing and interpreting the obtained results.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Microsoft Office Package.
Motivated, open to learn, proactive, team player and able to work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills, agility feeding goal setting and achieving agreed targets.
