Enzymes play an important role as biocatalysts in the manufacture of small molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). INOFEA addresses the biosynthesis of APIs with a line of enzzen®-formulated synthesis enzymes.
We know it can be highly important for you to have the tools to do it yourself. INOFEA can provide you with the tools you need to empower the enzymes you produce. With our His-tag binding Silica particles, you can selectively immobilize your enzyme of interest from a cell extract and shield it according to your process requirements. The protocol is first established with our technical team and later transferred to your process.
Our technology can be used to formulate enzyme ingredients for the Personal and Home Care products. Our enzzen®-technology solves stability issues of free enzymes, makes them more resistant against harsh conditions and ensures that the enzymes do not leak providing thus and additional layer of safety.
Our technology can be applied in batch and continuous processes, the enzymes can easily been removed from reaction mixtures by classical centrifugation or by using magnetic beads as particles and allow automatized work-flows. Additionally, enzzen®-enzymes can be reused over multiple reaction cycles.
We can tune the specificity of an enzyme by controlling its environment. Thus the layer can mimic an environment facilitating specific reactions which would require under normal conditions much more rigid settings.
